What is a theatrical performance for a person who is neither an audience nor concerned?
What is theater?
Theater Company Tom Theory performs a play with no audience and no live streaming. Away from the idea that the audience is present, we are going to rethink “What we are doing”. We will keep you posted on what we have found out through this creation.

This is a theater performance with no audience and no live streaming, so you will not be able to see two plays. But instead, you will be able to watch the before and after them live for free.
Introductioon:
"My world travel blog"
Based on a world travelogue, Theater Company Tom Theory will work on the 4th time creation as lifework. We interpret a blog as text, adapt and perform it as a play. Not for a diary, but a blog for others to read. The play for others not to see.
"The Students"
We will recreate our past play based on a resume entitled "I want to be surprised gathering many students". The play was created with actors through many discussions in a seminar-like style. We, who (seems to be) deprived of gathering together due to COVID-19, will consider what it’s like to “gather”, and what it’s like to be “students” by this “Seminar Theater.”

About Tom Theory Theater
A Kyoto-based theater company established in 2019 by Shintaro Okada, Akihiro Ogawa and Yuri Kuzukawa. Our interest is in the border between "theater" and "not theater".
Won the Kyoto Student Theater Festival 2019 Jury Prize and the Kyoto Student Theater Festival 2020 Jury Prize.
We aim to go abroad within 2021.
